Sail
LYRICS:
You always told me life was short; I should never take advantage. Now I'm standing on the shore, Trying to forget this. I knew that it could happen; I just didn't think so soon, And I know that you're not there but I can't stop texting you. I need to live on—it's what you'd have me do-- But it's so hard to continue without you. Oh, but I'll try, living every day of my life, Never asking why I had to say goodbye. Oh and this pain, nobody here is to blame; I just know you're in a better place And I'll never forget your face. All the memories we shared—that kind of happiness is rare; I always loved how much you cared, listening from your chair. You never think you can lose someone until they're gone. I'll cast my last goodbye in a bottle and give the sea my song My whole life long. Oh, but I'll try, living every day of my life, Never asking why I had to say goodbye. Oh and this pain, nobody here is to blame; I just know you're in a better place And I'll never forget your face, Living every day of my life; Why I had to say goodbye. And this pain, nobody here is to blame; I just know you're in a better place And I'll never forget your face. |
