Playlists
Bienvenu PairingsThis playlist combines the songs on Bienvenu with other songs which complement and contextualize them. If you're looking to engage on a deeper level with this album and its themes, this is a great place to start. You can also go to the Lyrics & Liner Notes page, where I've written up a couple sentences about each song, or to the Blog, where I'm in the process of writing fuller meditations on the themes of the album.

Literary LyricismIn my spare time, I teach English to eighth graders. Perhaps this is partly why I decided to write an EP filled with songs based on some of my favourite literature. Whatever the reason, I enjoyed the process so much, I decided to curate a playlist of other songs that were similarly inspired by literature ranging from ancient Greek mythology to dystopian teen-fiction.
Some of the literary references in this playlist may be obvious to you, but others can be a bit elusive. Click the button below to find a full listing of the songs and their sources.
